Philip began summer employment with Haydon Bridge after high school in 1980. He went to work full-time in 1984 and began supervising bridge projects in 1989. He became Vice-President and half owner when he and his brother Thomas purchased the company in 2007. He continued to supervise projects in Kentucky and surrounding states. In 2020 he semi-retired and sold the business to his son Marshall Haydon and Kevin Wolfe. Haydon Bridge Company has been building bridges for over 50 years and the third generation is still going strong.
