SEPTEMBER 2023

In this video you will see the last stages of Phase 1 construction before the traffic switch for Phase 2. During Phase 1 we closed the left side of US 68 and shifted traffic right using the shoulder to maintain two 10’ traffic lanes. For Phase 2 HBC will close the right side of US 68 and shift traffic onto the newly constructed pavement, maintaining two 10’ lanes. Here you can see the new pavement has been placed and Haydon Bridge is preparing the shoulder for guardrail installation before Phase 2 traffic shift.

AUGUST 2023

Plan the work and work the plan! Here at Haydon Bridge, we aspire to see a plan have a successful execution. When planning the work, the HBC team identifies key planning elements such as communication channels, scope, activities, deliverables, milestones, resources, timeline, and budgetary requirements.

Work well planned is only half success. Utilizing new technologies and real time communication platforms the office and field leadership are able to communicate fluidly and address any possible hold points before execution commences. In this video you will see the successful and safe completion of the culvert construction for Phase 1 in Marion Co. We met our milestone and are on track for a successful traffic shift to begin Phase 2 construction. Props to all those involved in planning the work and working the plan to make this successful.
