Rock Lick Beam Setting
The Rock Lick Creek Bridge is back underway! Crews recently set the last span of beams and are now working to complete phase 2 of the bridge deck. Here at Haydon Bridge Company, we always strive to deliver a quality product, on time. Shortly, we will have completed our 3rd bridge on this project in just under 2 years!
Kenton County
We’ve officially started work on the Bridge in Kenton County over Banklick Creek and the CSX Railroad. Our subcontractor, Hayes Drilling, is hard at work completing the drilled shafts. Haydon Bridge is now underway with construction of the Columns and Caps! Stay tuned for more updates!
Blake Ingram
We would like to congratulate Blake Ingram on his promotion to Senior Lead Carpenter! Blake has put in a lot of hard work to get to this point, and we hope he continues to keep it up to progress as a leader within our organization.
Frankfort Broadway Bridge
Haydon Bridge Company has partnered with CJ Mahan Construction and has been awarded the bridge demolition contract for the Broadway Bridge over the Kentucky River in Frankfort, Ky. This bridge was constructed in 1910 and has been closed to traffic since 1993! This project is on an expedited schedule and work should begin in October.
Prestress Services
Here at Haydon Bridge Company, we believe in taking care of our friends and partners. That’s why when we received the call from Prestress Services, LLC that they needed some help with one of their projects, we got to work. Prestress Services is a company that cast concrete beams for a lot of our bridge projects. Over the years, we have fostered a great relationship with the folks at Prestress and have completed numerous projects together. They are currently working on an expansion project for their Lexington based plant and as part of that expansion, they are building new casting beds for bigger beams. Between the extremely tight schedule and non-existent tolerances, this has proved to be a challenging yet rewarding project.
